Treat the delivery size and moving size as different figures

Check the way out as carefully as the way in
A sealed carton may have passed through a landing where the expanded sofa cannot turn. Measure the exit route at your current home and the entrance route at the next one: door openings, corridor turns, landing depth and lift access. Give these measurements, the sofa's weight and photographs to the mover. If a tight fit depends on removing doors or using lifting equipment, let the responsible professionals assess it first.
Protect the sofa without changing its shape
